This paper presents the Spanish historical and literary evolution of Procne and Philomena myth. This myth is, in turn, a litaraturization of the folk-motif T/425 sisterin- law seduces brother of her husband (her brother-in-law). Some XVI-century Spanish rewritings / reworkings of the myth are published as an appendix.
