This article analyzes the book II in the Boscán's poetic work, which was partcopied in the Lastanosa-Gayangos manuscript (L) and it was also pubHshed in the Carles Amorós press (Barcelona, 1543).' In this edition, Boscán introduces — in the end as well as in the beginning— a set of poems (sonnets and songs) which he still had not written when he copied the L manuscript. In order to add these poems, he was certainly based on the criterion that his printer —or perhaps Boscán himself— was foiling in the publication of the poetry by Ausiàs March, whic was also planned for the year 1543. All of them are changes which were inspired by his marriage to Ana Girón de Rebolledo in 1539.
