This paper aims at studying the lexical variation in the region of Castilla-La Mancha through the analysis tools provided by the research field of lexical availability. It takes as a starting point the classical studies about the linguistic areas in this region (ALeCMan) and combines them with the conclusions arising from Available Lexicon of Castilla-La Mancha. This is developed by comparing the distribution of the terms registered in the aforementioned papers and by analyzing the dialectal material of the available lexicon.
