The subject of this study is the geographic variations, the history and destiny of the fourteen lexical forms and lexemes of Ibero-Romance origin presently in the Judeo-Spanish lexical system in thirteen Sephardic communities of the Balkans, Turkey and Israel. The diatopical distribution of each of them makes the establishment of dialectical groups practically impossible. On the contrary, the languages of each Sephardic community represents a koine of unanimous Castillian basis, emerging from the dialectical elements mutually understandable taken by the speakers from their respective places of origin. The previous statement is valid so much for the first communities that were established immediately after the expulsion of 1492 by speakers that came from the Iberian Peninsula, as for those established afterwards by speakers coming from the Sephardic communities themselves. Following the history of every lexical form and analyzed lexeme, it is possible to establish certain relations, for example between the centers of Sephardic power and the diatopical diffusion of particular forms, between groups of power and their social diffusion, etc.
